About
Hi, I'm Linden Clarke, the owner and founder of LinStar Events - a boutique event management business based in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. I offer event planning and coordination, wedding planning, bartending, cocktail service, and catering support services for all kinds of occasions.
I have over 15 years of project management experience across university, government and not-for-profit sectors, and more than a decade of event planning. I spent six years managing professional development programs, events and conferences at a university, and five years as the Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) Netball Club Events and Fundraising Officer coordinating award events, social functions, international sporting tours and fundraising initiatives.​

Over the last seven years, I’ve worked at more than 350 events, honing my skills in event coordination, wedding planning, bartending, and catering support. I’ve had the pleasure of working with private, corporate, and commercial clients. Events have included conferences, workshops, workplace celebrations, gallery openings, launches, fundraisers, birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, funerals, weddings, engagements, and school and kindergarten functions.​​

After over a decade working in project management across universities, government, and community sectors, I launched LinStar Events to combine my passion for organising with my love of planning events. ​I’ve now supported over 350 events – from weddings and private parties to professional development workshops and stakeholder forums.
