About
Hi, I'm Linden Clarke, the owner and founder of LinStar Events—a boutique event management business based in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. I offer event planning and coordination, bartending, and catering support services for all kinds of occasions.
With over 15 years of experience in project management across the university, government, and not-for-profit sectors, and more than a decade of event planning, I bring a depth of knowledge and professionalism to every event I support. I spent six years planning and managing professional development events and conferences at a university, and five years as the Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) Netball Club Events and Fundraising Officer where I coordinated presentation dinners, social events, international sporting tours, and fundraising initiatives.
Over the last six years, I’ve worked at more than 250 events, honing my skills in event coordination, wedding planning, bartending, and catering support. I’ve had the pleasure of working with private, corporate, and commercial clients. These events have included conferences, workshops, workplace celebrations, fashion parades, gallery openings, store launches, fundraisers, birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, funerals, weddings, engagements, and school or kindergarten functions.

Flexible Support on the Day
One of the advantages of working with a small business like mine is flexibility. I can take on dual roles—providing event coordination early in the event and working as a bartender later on. This is ideal for smaller events that still need hands-on, expert assistance throughout which don’t have a need for multiple staff.
